NEW! Music Mentor Program

We are pleased to launch a new program to enable experienced mentors to sponsor string educators in the state, both in the classroom and private studio.  Funding from MNSOTA Board will assist mentors in their time and travel when sponsoring a teacher.  There will be a training session for mentors on Saturday, August 12 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the All-State Teachers WorkshopLearn more about this exciting new program on our website - www.mnsota.org/mentoring

DISCOUNTED NEW STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS

To encourage new student memberships, MNSOTA will pay 50% of the first year's State/National dues. 

There are two ways to access this special subsidy.

1) Students should mail to the MNSOTA membership coordinator:

  • Their completed ASTA application form.
  • Copy of their current Student ID
  • A check for 50% of the dues, made out to ASTA.  The membership coordinator will forward the application, your check, and the remaining amount to ASTA.

2) Pay the full amount of the ASTA dues.  Send a copy of the confirmation email to the MNSOTA Membership Coordinator, and MNSOTA will reimburse you for 50% of your first year's dues.
