Solo competition in 4 age groups.

Students in grades 7–9 are selected by tape/CD audition to perform at the MMEA Convention.

February 18-19 — Rehearsal at Northwestern College, Roseville; performance at MMEA
Middle Level Orchestra Festival
Orchestras from grades 6–9 perform at one of three festivals around the state.

March 28 — Tier 2 at Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis
