All-State Teachers Workshop

Aug 8-10, 2019 at University of Minnesota-Duluth

We are delighted that our feature presenter in 2019 
will be Christopher Selby, the National Board Certified Orchestra Director at the School of the Arts High School in Charleston, SC. He is current chair of ASTA Committee on School Orchestras and Strings, and chair-elect for NAfME National Council for Orchestral Education. He is a co-author of Habits of a Successful String Musician (GIA) and the 2010 SC Performance Standards for Instrumental Music. The Workshop Music Reading Sessions make available new and “Editor’s Choice” published string and full orchestra music for teachers to experience in hands-on sessions.  There are also several other presenters, and these will be announced by May 2019.  You can download information from 2017 & 2018 for examples of sessions we have offered in the past (see below).
