Eclectic Strings Day - CANCELLED for Spring 2020

The Eclectic Strings Festival is a fun and informative day of workshops and performances for violin, viola, cello, and bass.  You will have three different classes exploring new styles on your instrument such as gypsy jazz, bluegrass, rock and roll, guided by a master teacher.  After lunch, everyone gathers in the auditorium for a jam session playing the material covered in the morning classes. Join us for a fun experience in a relaxed atmosphere.


Proposed Clinicians:

    Greg Byers, cello / bass

    Ernest Bisong, violin

    Cristina Seaborn, violin / viola


Proposed Event Schedule

8:30 am - 9:00 am Registration and Welcome in Auditorium

   

    Class 1: 9:00-10:00 am

    Class 2: 10:15-11:15 am

    Class 3: 11:30 am -12:30 pm


Pizza lunch / Electric instrument petting zoo - 12:30 - 1:30 pm


Jam Session Concert in the Auditorium: 1:30-3:00 pm

 

Registration is simplified so there is one fee $35.  A MNSOTA member who brings three students is free.  A non MNSOTA member teacher who brings three students pays $10.
