MNSOTA Middle Level Honors Orchestra
February 18-19, 2011

The Middle Level Honors Orchestra is for students in grades 7-9.  The best string players from the state will join together for a rehearsal on February 18 at Northwestern College in Roseville and a performance on February 19, 2011 at the Minneapolis Convention Center as part of the MMEA convention. 

We are delighted to that Steve Amundson, who lead MNSOTA's inaugural Honors Orchestra in 2002, is returning as our guest conductor.  Mr. Amundson teaches at St. Olaf College and is in wide demand as conductor of All-State and Honors Orchestra festivals throughout the country.

Important Dates
October 26 — Tape/CD audition deadline
January 3, 2011 - Results of auditions sent to school teachers
February 12 to 13 — Rehearsal at Northwestern College, Roseville
February 18 — Performance at MMEA Midwinter Clinic
