Middle Level Honors Orchestra

February 17-18, 2017

The Middle Level Honors Orchestra is for students in grades 7-9. The best string players from the state will join together for a rehearsal on February 17 at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Roseville and a performance on February 18, 2017 at the Minneapolis Convention Center as part of the MMEA convention.

We are delighted that Ken Hakoda, Music Department Chair at Kansas Wesleyan University, will be our guest conductor.

    - Download the fillable form at the bottom of the page to help collect all the information required for the registration process. For example -- make one copy of the form for each student who will be auditioning; fill in your director information and email to the parent for them to fill in their information.

Important Dates
Friday October 14 — Audition Upload Window OPEN on GetAcceptd
    a. Complete application
    b. Submit payment
    c. Upload audio files
    d. Digital signatures must be submitted via email from guardians and principal (or acceptable substitute). You will need to confirm that your digital signatures have indeed been uploaded.
11:00 p.m., Friday November 4 — GetAcceptd closes for applications
January 3, 2017 - Results of auditions sent to school teachers
February 17 — Rehearsal at Maranatha Hall at University of Northwestern-St. Paul, Roseville - map
February 18 — Performance at MMEA Midwinter Clinic
